How long does a sofa take to dry?
Most sofas are dry to the touch in 4–6 hours. We set up air movers before we leave and tell you when it is safe to sit. Running the AC or opening the lanai for trade winds speeds it up. Thick cushions and humid, rainy days can take a little longer.
Is it safe for kids and pets?
Yes. We use low-residue, pet- and kid-safe products and rinse thoroughly, so nothing sticky stays in the fabric. There is no harsh chemical smell afterwards. We are happy to share the safety data sheet for anything we use, and pets can be back on the sofa once it is dry.
Do I need to be home?
For the first visit, yes — we walk through the fabric, the stains and the price with you before we start. For repeat visits and maintenance plans, many clients leave a key or door code, and we send before-and-after photos when we are done.
Will every stain come out?
Most do, but not all, and we will tell you before we start. Old coffee, wine, pet urine and dye transfer depend on the fabric and how long the stain has set. We test first, explain what is realistic and never charge extra for trying harder on a spot.
What does fabric protection actually do?
It helps fabric repel spills so liquids bead on the surface instead of soaking in, which makes cleanup much easier. It is not a force field: you still need to blot spills quickly. We test it with a water drop in front of you and include a 12-month touch-up guarantee.
